Field Work Practice (Internship) at Malaya Universiti, Malaysia

Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Mataram (Unram) with PUI-Biosciences and Biotechnology, University of Mataram (Unram) carried out International Field Work Practices (Students Internship). The activity was carried out at Univeriti Malaya Malaysia with three biology study program students from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Unram for one month.

This internship activity is filled with workshops takes the topic DNA barcoding from seaweed. The event, which was held in a hybrid manner, was held for seven days with the first day’s agenda filled with sample preparation method and the method of reading the results of DNA sequencing on the last day.

Founder of PUI-Biosciences and Biotechnology, University of Mataram (Unram), Eka Sunarwidhi Prasedya, Ph.D. hopes that this internship activity can become a place for academic improvement through networking and at the same time introduces academics to the international world in observing the development of science in other countries.
