Indonesia–Australia Collaboration Strengthens Seaweed Innovation and the Blue Economy in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB)

TSRC at Universitas Mataram participated in CONNECT! #12, a forum that brought together government representatives, academics, industry leaders, and international partners to discuss innovation and downstream development in the blue economy sector.

 

During the event, ITSRC presented its Indonesia–Australia collaborative research on the utilization of tropical seaweeds as a sustainable source of nutraceuticals, supporting health, food security, and the well-being of coastal communities.

We also extend our appreciation to KONEKSI for its support in strengthening Indonesia–Australia knowledge partnerships and fostering dialogue among stakeholders, including BRIN, Bappenas, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek), industry representatives, and local communities.

 

Together, we are building a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable blue economy for the future.
