PUI-Biosciences and Biotechnology Held The 1st Popularization of Medical Knowledge (POMk) Contest

The Popularization of Medical Knowledge (POMk) Contest is a program from the Japan International Corporate Agency together with Fukushima Medical University in collaboration with PUI-Biosciences and Biotechnology which is the final series of POMk activities for 1 year.

The Popularization of Medical Knowledge (POMk) Contest activity took place in a hybrid way via zoom and took place at the Muslim Scholars Generation Foundation (YGMC), Praya on January 17, 2023.

The POMk contest activity was attended by participants from Eco School and Muslim Scholars Generation Foundation (YGMC). Participants were divided into several groups, later these groups will present the results of their discussions whose topics are not far from the health of the human body, including the dangers of Covid-19, the movement system in humans, the dangers of smoking for the body, and others.

The judges who attended the activity included Eka Sunarwidhi Prasedya, Ph.D and Apt. Anggit L. Sunarwidhi, Ph.D from Mataram University also Prof. Akihiro Hazama, MD., Ph.D, Masao Miyake, Ph.D, Daisuke Kobayashi, Ph.D from Fukushima Medical University, Japan.

By holding this activity, it is hoped that the participants who are students can understand the importance of us as humans to be able to maintain a healthy body through creative and innovative learning activities.
